Release of the Magnolia Series

The Magnolia Series has been released.

This series includes 4 'mini' 4 x 4 x .75" acrylic paintings on wood, with a 24 x 30 x 1.5" acrylic on canvas anchor piece, Queen Magnolia. Each surface has a 16 inch diameter. The Magnolia Collection will feature the 5 paintings, along with prints in 5 x 7" and 8 x 10."

These paintings were inspired by a nature walk during the Bonsai & Blossoms show (January 9–March 22, 2026) at the Sonoma Botanical Garden. It features a presentation by the Redwood Empire Bonsai Society (REBS). "These early bloomers symbolize hope and renewal—reminding us that beauty and resilience can emerge even in the coldest months."

Queen Magnolia was directly inspired by a specific tree in the garden that the staff affectionately refer to as "the Queen."
